Music is one of the many arts that provides a means with which to express ones self. The guitar is but one of the many instruments that can be used for this purpose. However, the guitar is not just another instrument. With its twelve frets and six strings, developed in accordance to the Western musical system by Pythagorus of Greece, the creative possibilities are infinite.
When the Blues entered the scene creative improvisation began. The Blues are the basis for Jazz, Rock and Country music chording and improviation. By integrating the Blues into the Western musical system I have found it is easy for anyone who plays to improvise. The seven "playgrounds" are the visual patterns you will be able to play in without playing sour notes. You will learn how these seven "playgrounds, interacting with the integrated Blues, will give you an organized sytem in which you can play, using your feelings, until your heart is musically and creatively content.
Each lesson is approached spontaneously by listening to the students interest at that moment. This allows me to address the students level and present the most appropriate lesson possible. With the extensive experience in teaching guitar over the years there is the ability to provide the student with a fresh and stimulating learning experience each time. This makes it fun and rewarding for both of us.
